The rate at which your piercing may heal is affected by a variety of factors – it is nothing to be concerned about if your piercing heals much faster or slower than this guide – please get in touch if you have any queries about your healing piercing.

• Ear Lobe – 6 weeks

• Ear Cartilage including Tragus, Anti-tragus, Upper and Lower Conch, Helix, Faux Snug, Daith, Industrial, Rook etc – 3 to 6 months but can take much longer.

• Navel – 6 months

• Nipple – 3-6 months (up to 12 months in some cases)

• Tongue – 4-6 weeks to fully heal (however the worst of the discomfort is over within the first two weeks and the jewellery can be downsized after this time)

• Smiley – 2 – 4 weeks

• Lip / Labret – 6 weeks (Jewellery can be downsized after 2 weeks)

• Medusa – 6 weeks (Jewellery can be downsized after 2 weeks)

• Madonna – 6 weeks (Jewellery can be downsized after 2 weeks)

• Vertical or Horizontal Lip – 6 -12 weeks

• Eyebrow – 2-3 months

• Septum – 4-6 weeks

• Nostril – 5-6 months (no jewellery changed for 4 months at minimum)
